Registered Manager Full Time

Alex is recruiting for a Registered Manager in the desirable Southend-on-Sea area in a good CQC rated nursing home that also offers rehabilitation services. Successful candidates are expected to ensure that staff are delivering a high quality of care and respect to all service users.

Key Duties

• To manage the day to day running of the service, including arranging and assessing trial visits.
• To liaise with CQC inspectors and to cooperate with inspections.
• Take responsibility for creating a high standard of care for service users.
• To implement Quality Assurance initiatives and participate in quality control activities.
• To ensure that there is good communication between staff and hold regular staff meetings.
• To enhance a positive public image for the service users and good public relations with commissioners, relatives, voluntary organisations, local community groups and the general public.
Due to potential changes in service delivery candidates will need to have an innovative and flexible approach to service provision.

Requirements

• A management qualification or care equivalent to QCF diploma in Leadership and Management Level 5.
• At least two years’ experience in a senior management capacity (within the last 5 years)
• A good Communicator
• Committed to training
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other professional disciplines
