Deputy Home Manager Full Time

Jack is recruiting for a Deputy Home Manager for a small and good CQC rated care home near Brighton.

As an experienced Deputy Home Manager, you would be working with the Registered Manager in providing continuous leadership to other members of staff but most importantly administering the highest standard of care for residents.

This role is suitable for applicants moving up or down their career pathway.

Key Duties

· Advise and supervise staff in the planning and implementation of care to ensure residents have their personal needs attended to maintaining as much independence as possible

· Ensuring all new staff are trained and compliant according to CQC regulations

· Maintain good staff working relationships and morale within the home

· Overseeing care plans, medications, and risk assessments whilst effectively reporting any changes to the Registered Manager

· Able to the run the home in the absence of the Registered Manager

· Shared on call responsibilities for emergencies outside of normal working hours

Requirements

· Managerial experience within a care home setting

· Experience and knowledge of Dementia and CQC

· NVQ level 3

· Flexible – may have to work occasional weekend
