Senior Supervising Social Worker Full Time

Alex is recruiting for a Senior Supervising social worker within the Bristol area for one of the Country’s top Fostering agencies. The service is rated ‘’Outstanding’’ by Ofsted so the quality of service delivered is of the utmost importance.

This is a homebased role as the client recognises the benefits of a flexible working environment for both the employer and the employee. As this is a remote working organisation, the client is committed to working with staff to enable consistent inclusion and engagement across the organisation to ensure the optimum standards of service for carers, children and their foster carers in the development of their services.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Supervising Social Worker role will have post qualifying experience in a family placement work or other childcare settings as well as a good working knowledge of relevant legislation and child protection procedures

Main requirements:

• Post qualifying experience in family placement work or post qualifying experience in other childcare settings.
• A proven track record in working with and on behalf of children, respecting and maintaining their individuality and promoting their positive development.
• Up to date knowledge of relevant legislation including the Fostering National Minimum Standards and Fostering regulations.
• Experience of working with/supporting looked after children and their foster carers.
• Experience carrying out Form F assessments or a proven track record in assessment skills.
• You will need to be DipSW, CSS or CQSW qualified and registered with Social Work England.
• An enhanced DBS clearance is also required and will be processed by the client on your behalf.

Salary

• £33,561 p.a. (pro rata) + £1,500 Out of Hours Allowance p.a (pro rata) + £750 Home Working
