Jack is recruiting for an exceptional learning disability housing provider who are looking to expand their team of Support Workers across Cambridgeshire.
This role focuses on the importance of developing relationships with vulnerable adults whilst supporting them through their day to day activities.
As a Support Worker, you will be working within a small team to support adults with a range of needs from standard to complex needs. As well as cooperating with members of multi-disciplinary health teams. This is a real opportunity for anyone looking to make a positive difference and create a better life for individuals in maximising their therapeutic support.
Key Duties and Skills
· Reporting directly to the Registered Manger.
· Providing considerate high-quality care and support to adults with learning disabilities whilst ensuring their rights are protected.
· Systematically solving day to day problematic issues which arise.
· Delivering clear communication, reporting, updating care plans, adhering to policies and procedures and relevant regulations.
· Undertaking such training and development to maintain the cultures performance and excellence.
Requirements
· Minimum of 6 months care experience working with learning disabilities (preferred)
· NVQ 2 in Health and Social Care (preferred).
· Enhanced DBS
· Full UK Driving License
Shift Pattern
This role requires multiple candidates to split 24-hour shifts, 7 days a week (Days and Sleep-Ins). Contact us for further information.
