Support Worker Full Time

Dayam is recruiting for Permanent Support Workers to work Full-Time within Horsham and Billingshurst for well-established Nursing homes.

As an experienced Support Worker, you would be responsible for taking care of vulnerable adults, and supporting senior staff with assessments, planning and delivery of effective care. This will include delivering care as required within care plans and liaising with family members to ensure full support for the residents.

This role is suitable for an experienced support worker or someone with care experience looking to progress within their career.

Key Duties and skills required as a support worker

• Supporting individuals within the designated Care Homes.
• Providing responsive care to individuals who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities.
• Providing emotional support when required.
• Assisting with Care Plans, assessments and monitoring of resident’s well-being as well as documenting any changes to care or health of the residents.
• Encouraging and Supporting the development of personal skills.
• Take on new requests and feedback via phone.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months Care/Support work experience.
• Clear Enhanced updated DBS.
• Be able to work flexible and full-time shifts.
• Friendly individual with a caring attitude and the ability to work independently.
• Level 2 NVQ or higher (Desired)
