Senior Residential Support Worker Full Time

Dayam is recruiting for a prestige children’s organisation who are now looking to expand their Senior Support work team located within Huntingdon.

This role focuses on the importance of developing relationships with vulnerable children and young people whilst supporting them through their day to day activities.

As a residential Senior Support Worker, where you will be taking control of daily shifts, assisting support workers, safeguarding children and supplying them with the confidence and guidance to thrive in social environments whilst also finding ways to improve their ability to perform tasks themselves. Key Duties and Skills

• Reporting directly to the Deputy and Registered Manger of the Children’s Home.
• Providing considerate care and support to the children within the care home.
• Displaying a safe atmosphere through safeguarding from abuse, neglect, and harm to allow them to be positive throughout their day to day life.
• Ensuring that you are professional throughout your shift, whilst organising children’s activities, attending children reviews, appointments and meetings when required.
• Delivering clear communication, reporting, and recording safeguarding concerns, updating records, adhering to policies and procedures and create positive community relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 Years Support Work experience with children (preferred)
• NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care (Required)
• Enhanced DBS
• Full UK Driving License

Shift Pattern

This role requires someone who can work 40 hours per week. 40 Hours per week. The shift patterns can be working days, evenings, weekends, and nights. You will also be required to do sleep ins and will be rewarded with addition £50.00 per night.
