Clinical Lead Full Time

Dayam is recruiting for a Clinical Lead to work Full-Time for a reputable Care Home which is looking to expand their team within Leicester.

The main role of the Clinical Lead will be to assist the Manager with administrative and practical duties to ensure the home runs efficiently. You will also be contributing to the upkeep of the home, report all activities to the manager and encourage residents to live independently.

When the manager of the home is not available, it will be the Clinical Lead who will be in charge in order to continue the service provided by the Care Home, you will continue nursing and care manager of the home and ensure standards are maintained.

Key Duties and skills

As a Registered Nurse you will perform the following duties:

• Document and update care plans to ensure the residents care needs are met consistently
• Be in charge when the Senior Nurse or Manager is unavailable.
• Take on call duties and maintain good communication with all professionals, residents, and family members.
• Maintain and complete all nursing records.
• Provide safe administration of medicines whilst following the NMC and Care Home policy and procedures.
• Reporting any concerns and safeguarding issues to the Senior Nurse.
• Maintain supervisions of residents and hold one to one meeting and attend group activities when required.
• Attend mandatory training and meetings when required.
• Maintain within the Care Standards, Scotland and CQC England
• Follow Care Home policies and procedures.
• To assist with orientations, training, and induction of new staff.

Requirements

• Qualified Registered Nurse
• 6 months Nurse experience
• Clear Enhanced DBS

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern can be very flexible as the Care Home is open to taking on multiple part time and full-time workers.

Monday to Sunday part-time and full-time including day and night shifts up to 44 hours available on a permanent basis.
