Senior Care Assistants Full Time

Dayam is recruiting and has a great opportunity with one of the UK’s leading care home operators in Northampton who is looking for experienced senior carers to join their friendly home immediately.

This role involves a minimum of 1 Years Care experience within the Care sector along with a Health and Social Care NVQ level 2 or 3 (preferred).

Key Duties and Skills

• Providing tailored personal care, promoting independence, and administering medication to each resident.
  Organising, planning, and delivering home activities and functions for residents.
• Undertaking responsibilities such as being in charge during shifts, providing palliative care, assessing care plans, running, and attending appointments whilst acknowledging CQC requirements.
• Demonstrating management and leadership skills by motivating and supporting carers in their daily tasks.
• Performing Administration duties such as answering phones, speaking with new residents and general upkeep of the Care Home.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year care experience (preferred)
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
• Enhanced Clear DBS
• Team Player

Shift Pattern

Flexible, days and nights available on a permanent 36 hour rota.
