Mental Health Nurse Full Time

Jack is recruiting for nurses and senior nurses for a small independent mental health unit with an excellent reputation around Norwich.

The main role is to deliver treatment to patients with mental health illnesses and disabilities whilst ensuring effective planning, delivery and evaluation of care. Providing rehabilitation and recovery to women with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Key Duties and skills

As a nurse you will perform the following duties:

·  Document and update care notes to ensure the patients care needs are met consistently.

·  Be in charge when the Care Team Leader is unavailable.

·  Maintain and complete all nursing records.

·  Provide safe administration of medicines whilst following the NMC and services’ policy and procedures.

·  Plan and review risk assessments in with the clinical team.

·  Attend mandatory training and meetings when required.

·  Maintain within the Care Standards, Scotland and CQC England

·  Excellent communication and listening skills including good IT skills.

Requirements

·  Qualified Registered Nurse

·  2 years post registration Nurse experience

·  Mental health knowledge

·  Clear Enhanced DBS

·  Car Driver

Shift Pattern

The shift pattern can be very flexible as the service is open to taking on multiple part time and full-time workers.

Monday to Sunday part-time and full-time including day and night shifts up to 42 hours available on a permanent basis.
