Deputy Manager – Learning Disabilities Full Time

Jack is recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a small learning disability and supported living environment west of St Albans.

An exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager or someone looking to move up in their career.

Key Duties and skills as a Deputy Manager:

· Assist in the day to day operations.

· Supervising and supporting staff members ensuring they encourage and support service users to become as independent as possible.

· Ensure service users have person centred plans including adequate risk management plans and medication management that are reviewed, evaluated, and discussed with other stakeholders.

· Excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills.

· Willingness to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

· 3 years’ experience with learning disability experience or autism and complex needs.

· NVQ level 3 or equivalent (or working towards this qualification).
