Deputy Manager- Children’s Home Full Time

Dayam is recruiting for a Deputy Manager for a Children’s Home for an establishment within Romford, London.

As Deputy Children’s Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating your team to achieve high standards and ensure that children within the home receive the best care possible.

This role is suitable for an experienced Care Home Manager with Leadership qualities.

Key Duties and skills

• Be committed to building up a new resident establishment.
• Work as part of a team and take guidance from superiors.
• Providing considerate care and support to the children within the care home.
• Displaying a safe atmosphere through safeguarding from abuse, neglect, and harm to allow them to be positive throughout their day-to-day life.
• Ensuring that you are professional throughout your shift, whilst organising children’s activities, attending children reviews, appointments and meetings when required.
• Delivering clear communication, reporting, and recording safeguarding concerns, updating records, adhering to policies and procedures and create positive community relationships.
• Maintaining positive community relationships, with creativity.

Requirements

• Experience working with children.
• Ofsted Regulated experience.
• Be qualified in working with Emotional and Behavarioul Difficulties (EBD).
• Enhanced DBS.
• Full UK Driving Licence (Car is provided).
• Up-to-date CV with Cover Letter attached.
• NVQ Level 3 (Preferred).
• Ability to build positive and long-term relationships.
