Senior Support Worker Full Time

Dayam is recruiting for a Senior Support Worker who is qualified in Emotional and Behavarioul Difficulties (EBD) within a supported living home located in Ilford.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be responsible for leading and motivating all residents within the home. You will assist with activities, and educational processes to help young people learn and live their life to the fullest.

This role is suitable for an experienced Support Worker with Leadership qualities.

Key Duties and skills

• Be committed to building up a new home.
• Work as part of a team and take guidance from superiors.
• Providing considerate care and support to the children within the care home.
• Displaying a safe atmosphere through safeguarding from abuse, neglect, and harm to allow them to be positive throughout their day-to-day life.
• Ensuring that you are professional throughout your shift, whilst organising children’s activities, attending children reviews, appointments and meetings when required.
• Delivering clear communication, reporting, and recording safeguarding concerns, updating records, adhering to policies and procedures and create positive community relationships.
• Maintaining positive community relationships, with creativity.

Requirements

• Experience working with children.
• Ofsted Regulated experience.
• Be qualified in working with Emotional and Behavarioul Difficulties (EBD).
• Enhanced DBS.
• Full UK Driving Licence (Car is provided).
• Up-to-date CV with Cover Letter attached.
• NVQ Level 3 (Preferred)
• Ability to build positive and long-term relationships.
