Deputy Manager- Children’s Home Full Time

Dayam is recruiting for a Children’s Home Deputy Manager for a new Care Home opening within Sutton.

As Deputy Manager within a Children’s Home, you will be responsible for leading and motivating your team to achieve high standards and ensure that children within the home receive the best care possible.

This role is suitable for an experienced Deputy Home Manager .

Key Duties and skills

• Report to the Registered Manager.
• Be committed to building up a new home.
• Providing considerate care and support to the children within the care home.
• Displaying a safe atmosphere through safeguarding from abuse, neglect, and harm to allow them to be positive throughout their day-to-day life.
• Ensuring that you are professional throughout your shift, whilst organising children’s activities, attending children reviews, appointments and meetings when required.
• Delivering clear communication, reporting, and recording safeguarding concerns, updating records, adhering to policies and procedures and create positive community relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years care experience with children (required).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a managerial role in childcare (required).
• Diploma of Higher Education (preferred).
• Experience in Social Care Management.
• Knowledge of Pedagogy.
• Clear DBS.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Up-to-date CV with Cover Letter attached.
