Care Assistant Full Time
Dayam is recruiting for Care Assistants to work part-time and full-time for a reputable Care Home 10 miles south of Tiptree, Essex.
This role will comprise of providing continuing care to residents and assisting them through their daily requirements whilst reporting to Senior and Managerial staff. You would also play an important part in the development of the residents’ health and ensure their family understands about the procedures of the care you are delivering.
Key Duties and skills
As a carer you will perform the following duties:
- Making Beds
- Dressing and Undressing
- Taking care of a resident’s personal hygiene
- Moving and Handling
- Meal preparation, feeding and providing drinks
- Escorting residents to different areas of the Care Home
- Participate in caring activities
- Assist with resident’s independence
- Record any safety issues to Senior Staff
- Record any changes within the care plan where necessary
- Attend mandatory training.
- To understand Care Home policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience within Care (Required)
- NVQ Level 1 or higher (Preferred)
- Interested in providing Care and to assist with residents to have a fulfilling life.
Shift Pattern
The shift pattern can be very flexible as the Care Home is open to taking on multiple part time and full-time workers.
Monday to Sunday part-time and full-time including day and night shifts up to 44 hours available on a permanent basis.
