Registered Manager Full Time

Alex is recruiting for a Registered Manager in the Wokingham area in a family run business that offers a range of specialist care services. Successful candidates are expected to ensure that staff are delivering a high quality of care and respect to all service users.

Key Duties

• To promote a culture of authentic caring and love for clients and employees through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs aligned to the company values.
• To ensure all staff are trained to a level which ensures an outstanding rating by the CQC
• To liaise with CQC inspectors and to cooperate with inspections.
  To take responsibility for helping grow the business in close collaboration with the owners and in conjunction with the care management team
• To be responsible and accountable for the monitoring and the control of day-to-day expenditure.

Requirements

• To fully demonstrate and be responsible for having achieved an outstanding rating with CQC with a similar care company as a Registered Manager.
• To have proven capability of training staff on the key elements of social care standards to meet CQC regulatory requirements
• A management qualification or care equivalent to QCF diploma in Leadership and Management Level 5.
• A minimum of two years’ successful experience in a senior management capacity and working as a Registered Manager in the care business sector.
• Full IT literacy and capability with MS Office portfolio and Social Media networks
• Ideally lives locally – or within 1 hour drive time from Wokingham.
