Deputy Manager Full Time

Availl have been established for 13 exciting years, our friendly and well-trained staff provide safe, high quality care and support to adults. Whether it’s our Care At Home services to the local community, our temporary staffing services to care homes we always strive to deliver the best possible service. Through the selection, training, support and management of our staff we achieve excellent results for both our clients and staff.

The branch currently only services 100 hrs of care at home so this is an exciting opportunity for someone to come in early and be a part of a promising future to mirror the successes of our other branches.

This is an amazing opportunity for a deputy manager who’s ready to progress to a registered manager as we will actively look to promote you to this position within 3 months.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has a minimum of 2 year’s managerial or supervisory experience
• Has an NVQ level 4 or 5 in Health and Social Care (Management/Leadership) or equivalent
• Has the flair for leading a team and managing staff effectively
• Has excellent computer and administrative skills
• Has an upbeat and inquisitive nature
• Can provide personal care and support direct to clients if required
• Can process and respond to client requirements quickly and efficiently
• Is an excellent communicator (face to face, telephone and written)
• Is a natural at developing relationships
• Is business-focused and has the drive to gain new business from cold-calling
• Is able to work on their own initiative, has a proactive approach and be multitasking
• Is able to work efficiently under pressure and cope with change
• Is able to work within the standards of the company and regulatory bodies
• Is eligible to work full time and permanently in the UK
• Has a full driving license and car

You will be required to provide an on-call service during out of office hours, starting at alternate nights in the week and alternate weekends.
